Ticket for Fall gig at St Georges' Community Centre on 18th of August 1977. The band actually get second billing after the disco! Also note the price change on the ticket, from 50p to 20p.

“This is the youth club on Oldham Rd, near the main Post Office depot, painted with the colourful mural. I read that the gig was stopped after a couple of songs when the youth leader decided it wasnt "quite what he had in mind" for the very young audience! Everyone adjourned to The Ranch apparently.

Surely the Fall's only pink, crimped edge ticket!”
“thanks tony- we'll try and get a photo of the venue... where did you read about this gig?”
“On www.visi.com/fall/intro.html. I think this is the very same ticket with comments from "Kevin".

"Wonderful and Frightening!" Tons of great artefacts and memories. Transcripts of on-stage rants etc from seemingly every Fall gig ever.”
“Yup - got a note in my '77 diary says Fall & Jon the Postman's Peurile actually played at the Ranch that night.
You see that generic ticket type all over this site for early punk gigs - must have been only one cheap printer in town!”
