“There is a rumour (nothing more...yet) that after a gig at the Free Trade Hall in 1977, AC/DC had an after hours drinking session here, and recorded an as yet unreleased song. The story goes that the support act for their gig was a local singer/songwriter, and because they were playing in Manchester again the next day (at the Electric Circus!!!) they agreed to a drinking session in Stockport. Apparently only Bon Scott, Malcolm Young & Angus attended, but other musicians from the support act were there too and they jammed into the wee small hours. Like I say, it's only a story...that they went there to have a late drink is a fact, but whether or not anything was recorded is just a story. Nothing has emerged, and after 30 years + you'd think that if it were true something would've emerged by now.”
