Before Albert's Schloss was Brannigans it was a posh car showroom. I took this when I was taking pics of Manchester street scenes in 1977. I love the bloke in the sheepskin coat. All the car dealers wore them back in the day and from this, obviously some of the punters as well.

I guess nobody on the music scene at the time had any idea that the superb Albert Hall was just above it.
