Artefact
Welcome to the wonderful word of cross-writing! Back in the olden days when postage was really expensive, as was decent paper, when you reached the end of your paper but hadn't run out of things to say, you simply flipped the page on an angle and carried on. Delightful to see now but I wouldn't have wanted to labour through this gas light.
In this letter, in German, Nina Grieg writes to Anna Brodsky of God in whom she believes and of death which she does not fear. Anna has written on these philosophical matters to Nina. Recently Edvard has played the piano and Nina has sung a little at a concert in Kopenhagen. Edvard's legs are bothering him and he has to wear elastic stockings. Spring has not yet reached Kopenhagen.
