“Actually, Mike, Chris Griffin, the flautist in the photo and the Manchester Mekon of course, graduated from the RNCM.”

“How ironic. I'll be careful with my Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds references in future. :) Weirdly enough I spoke to somebody at a Hookworms gig at the White Hotel in Salford a couple of years ago who told me that he'd been in the Mekon. Unfortunately I cannot remember what he said he'd played. Nice fellow, though.”
