Seems back then you could get national pluadits and never sell a record..The press realy were a world unto them selves.
The Box "s singer Pete Hope later recorded some tracks with 808state (unreleased) We met him whilst recording at FON
Studios ,He also did stuff with Parrot(the) producer.”

“Ken supposedly heard 2 women on a bus filling out a crossword and one of them suggested "Capalula "as the answer to one of the clues. God alone knows what it means but it was a great "stage name". Another of his psuedonyms during the Iron Lung days was "Bad Money"and "the Deep Gangster" was another favourite. In fact nobody ever used their real names then.”
