I love the font on this. So very 70s! The Fires of London was a chamber ensemble, featuring famed alumni Harrison Birtwistle and Peter Maxwell Davies. The programme is one of the first "big deal" performances the RNCM did after its opening in 1973 and is one of the more interesting designs before the later 1970s-2000s took over with plainer programmes. The item is from our extensive archive and is one of thousands dating from the early 1970s to the present year.
