Original Buzzcocks drummer John Maher is sharing clippings from his original scrapbooks. They cover two years from 1976, including the band's first press review from The Melody Maker. Here's a short, very dry, review from the New York Times, of their appearance at Club 57 with The The and Gang of Four. Matt Johnson's lot do not come out of it very well.
