Original Buzzcocks drummer John Maher is sharing clippings from his original scrapbooks. They cover two years from 1976, including the band's first press review from The Melody Maker. This is Slaughter & The Dogs' version of the poster for Sex Pistols' and Buzzcocks appearance at The Lesser Free Trade Hall on Tuesday 20th July 1976. I love the way they've promoted themselves to the top of the bill and billed Buzzcocks as mere support. You can see the 'official' poster here:
