The front and back of a flyer for Optical Funk - an infrequent club night that incorporated live Music, this was the third event. The first was a Salford University showcase, the second featured London Jazz band Pest who then went on to be signed by Ninjatune, the Fourth feature their label mates Cinematic Orchestra for their first Manchester appearence - although several CO members are Mancunian musicians. The night was developed by Changeling as a vehicle for their visuals, The two main artists behind Changeling went on to start Eyes Down with Jon K and Kelvin Brown. All the posters for Optical Funk where individual and hand made screen prints, the flyers were printed on an antique letterpress machine so that every flyer was different, mistakes were encouraged.
