I performed twice in Wigan last week (April 07) as part of their excellent Words 07 literature festival. I picked up the attached at the town's Tavern rock venue, home apparently to Wigan Musician's Collective.

Local lad Stuart Maconie was also in town reading from his new book Pies and Predjudice, which I'm keen to read. His first book "Cider with Roadies" has many anecdotes of interest to fans of Northern Soul and Manchester music.

Great to see Russ still keeping the torch burning.
