The owner of the club by Victoria Station was the lovely Chic Taylor himself.
Chic handed me my membership card, sat at his table at the top of the stairs.
I often went with mate Pete Taylor from Partington, sitting at the small bar.

The club turned into the Top Cat Club, towards the end of the 70s, into the 80s.
