Here is another tape that a kind benefactor sent me listing some of the working titles for the songs on New Order's 'Technique' album. The 'BASS Reference' titling as well as the distinctive handwriting suggests at one point this may have been in the possession of Hooky. This may be an earlier work-in-progress version of the tape 'jsz' put up on the site, as only the side A tracks appear here. Note that '8 Track One' (Guilty Partner) is listed twice. Given that there are already multiple demo renditions of this song in the wild, it's would make sense that the group may have been playing around with the arrangement before this song took its final form. Unfortunately, the DAT tape itself doesn't match what's listed in the insert, but it's not a total loss as what's on there are quite likely the final demos (instrumentals) from Revenge Mk.II before they called it a day.
