Extract from gigography in Charlatans fanzine "109", issue 6. This mentions the live recording of a gig at Granada Studios for their "Celebration" arts programme.

Free tickets were advertised in City Life magazine. I seem to remember that the studio gig felt rather tame compared to the Charlies celebratory local gigs at this time. It was an early evening start and no bar!

The band had toured their Indian Rope and Only One I Know singles at this point but the Some Friendly album tour did not start until the October - many dates were supported by Intastella.
