Sleeve notes from The Marc Shows - a 1989 Marc On Wax fanclub release of Bolan's 1977 Tv series for Manchester-based Granada.

I remember the series well - about the same time as Magpie and The Tomorrow People!

Few TV stations worldwide can have a better music archive than Granada. Front sleeve posted also.

The punk band in question was, I think, The Damned.

Bolan was killed in a car crash in September 77 adding poignancy and importance to these recordings.

Bolan's wife, Gloria Jones, was of course the voice of the Northern Soul version of Tainted Love, much played at the Casino, I'd imagine.
