I was brought up in Benchill Wythenshawe and when I was around 10 years old my mum got a job at The Golden Garter Cabaret club at Civic Centre Wythenshawe
It was in my eyes as a 10 year old a really swanky place. My mums job was setting the tables for the evenings shows.
The headline act would be booked for the week Monday through to Saturday evening.
The acts would soundcheck and rehearse their shows on a Monday and I was lucky that my mum would let me take the day off school to help her work and watch the reheasals I use to go along with my little autograph book
Once I got to high school I would sneak out early to watch
I found this running order for when the Bee Gees I didn't see them but I must of picked this running order up as I didn't have my autograph book with me and on the other side of this is Georgie Fames autograph
