during the intial development of mr scruff,doodlebug programmed a series of sessions in the Hacienda's 5th man whilst pleasure records programmed the main space upstairs.
the st. valentine's day massacre saw our good spar jerry dammers back up to spin with mr scruff for the first time.

nb.has to be noted that barney doodlebug had sugested to rob the idea of only using the 5th man whilst turning the rest of the club into a waxworks juxtaposed to the numerous props and the ton of merchandising lying around factory venues....
