The Hacienda
1983

Each year, Factory Records would commission a Christmas Card and for 1983, Trevor Johnson of Johnson Panas designed a cardboard model kit of the Hacienda nightclub, which was reissued in 1990 in an edition of 500 and given the catalogue number Fac 86R. Thanks to the uploads on MDMA by 1963, I have been able to clumsily print, cut, fold and create my very own Hacienda from that 1983 Christmas card. For those of you who never got round to making the model but wondered what it looked like in its assembled form, it is presented here, 27 years late, in a series of photos.
