“Even though I've lived the past 35 abroad I still have fond memories of the Electric Circus where I s@w the Pistols, a great but strange double header of Talking Heads opening for the Ramonesl Little Bob Story and many more. I lived inBolton at the time but regularly made the trip to see so many great bands.
At Rafters it was Elvis Costello on a Thursday the same week his debut album came out after playing gigs at the Nashville, and the Flamin Groovies playing power pop which was pretty good. One night a coule of friends and myself went to see Gentle Giant at the MFTH but it was cancelled so we went to the Palace were Pink Floyd were playin - We didn't have tickets but at the last minute there was a no show and we got a balcony to ourselves for cost. Yes many great memoriesstill!!!!!”
