Academy 2 (Main Debating Hall)
4th November 1978

A review for a Siouxsie and the Banshees show in the Main Debating Hall not long after Hong Kong Garden smashed into the UK singles charts. The commercial success of the band and the popularity of the punk moment saw ticketless crowds being turned away and those lucky to get inside were treated to a pissed-off looking band, obviously not enjoying the torrent of spit coming from the poseur punks at the front of the stage.
