Academy 1 (Manchester Academy)
16th July 1993

This article taken from NME describes an incident when House of Pain, Cypress Hill and Funkdoobiest played The Academy in 1993.

Apparently a brawl occurred when Academy security ejected band and crew members from the venue resulting in a fracas involving the bands, local youths and security. The mêlée caused £12,000 worth of damage to a tour bus.
