"Husk: The Transgender Electropop Maker"
Husk's biog:
"Imagine, the 3-minute Pop song on an informed musical bed of programming alchemy that provides Nu Disco fuel for dancefloor fires, add a good measure of analog synth and add a signing transman and you'll have created Husk!
Armed with kicks you feel in your chest and slapping snares as pushing beats, Husk's unapologetic love for Girls Aloud and producer Brian Higgins is paraded in song. A fan since the age of nine, the result means that anything less than a f**king catchy hook just won't make the cut.
These days, now 22, you'll also find him tickling keys and fiddling with frequency dials of which his teenage years of New Wave listening experiences from the likes of Blondie and Dragonette can be held accountable for, but also influenced more recently by the electronic delights of Synth Pop sweetie LIGHTS and the neo-soul of Little Dragon. This and hgis vocal production style closer to that of Crystal Castles or The Birthday Massacre; may I present: Husk!
