YANN TIERSEN at Manchester Cathedral. His set was miles away from the now-omnipresent piano miniatures "Comptine d'un autre été" and "Waltz D'Amelie", or even the Shannon Wright collaboration LP (probably my favourite of his) and was largely rock-based, with two drum sets.

This was a nice surprise, that one of the drummers was Neil Turpin - 'included' in lots of my other artefacts by being in Bilge Pump, Polaris, Snail Racing etc. Even he is hidden behind equipment.
