Cairo
1979

I designed most of the record sleeves for Rabid Records - Slaughter & The Dogs, Jilted John, Ed Banger & The Nosebleeds, etc - and quite a few for Absurd Records, which was the spin-off label started by Absurd's Lawrence Beedle. This was the sleeve for Cairo's "I Like Bluebeat," which we all thought would do really well for the band. I think everyone was surprised that it didn't go big!
