The Hacienda
1996

A piece of the dancefloor from the Hacienda. I bought two planks of it, had it cut into squares, framed a piece and it now hangs in a bathroom with my gold discs.

The other pieces went to mates that I used to go there with who now live in in Hong Kong, Australia and even Romiley.

I thought about buying enough planks to create my own little Hac dancefloor at home.

“Excellent idea. I only wish that I bought more. I've thought about attaching two pieces to the soles of my shoes with elastic bands and having a bit of a dance, just to see if it can get the same buzz again.”
