Artefact

Ticket
Nico
Library Theatre
16th June 1983

I think this was 1983 and Nico had been in Manchester for a few years by then. It was a strange venue, odd crowd and weird atmosphere in the small Library Theatre which I associated more with amateur dramatics and school trips to the theatre than rock n roll, but it was enough to be in the presence of a 1960s goddess and Nico held it together well sitting centre stage with her harmonium. There wasn't much small talk or interaction but it was one of those evenings you don't forget.
