Artefact
The Cribb Brothers (collectively known as the Hee Bee Gee Bees), aka Angus Deayton, Michael Fenton Stevens and Philip Pope, recording various musical parodies at Strawberry Studios Stockport in 1980. The songs included 'Meaningless Songs in Very High Voices', 'Boring Song' by Status Squid, 'Granma' by St Winnalot's Reform School Choir and 'Are Trains Electric' by Gary Inhuman! The trio had begun their musical parodies on BBC Radio 4's 'Radio Active' before switching to television ('KY TV') and eventually 'Spitting Image'. Thanks to Roger Heeley Barnes for the photo.
