Master Tape
New Order
15th August 1987

This is a show from their US tour of that year on which they co-headlined with Echo And The Bunnymen and Gene Loves Jezebel.

It's labelled "Detroit 16/08/87" and the setlist was previously unknown. I can only presume it's the show at The Pine Knob Amphitheatre, Clarkston, Michigan, thought to have happened on the 15th.
Maybe the tape was labelled the day after, anyone know for sure?

They played:

01. Sub Culture
02. Dreams Never End
03. Sunrise
04. Temptation
05. 1963
06. True Faith
07. Thieves Like Us
08. Weirdo
09. Face Up
10. Age Of Consent
11. The Perfect Kiss

“It's likely to be postdated, as the date given would have conflicted with the Hoffman Estates performance (originally on the 14th but postponed until the 16th on account of fierce rains). The Bunnymen gigography listing I was readily able to find seems to base its 1987 dates on the NO one, so that's no help.

One other note: I do know somebody who's been in contact with someone who taped this very show, but last time I checked, they hadn't been able to locate it. I could try again and see where it gets us.”
“I acquired a tour schedule from Factory at the time, and this one was down as the 15th. Mind you, two of the gigs that took place weren't even listed, so I've never been convinced as to its reliability! I'll see if I can dig it out and will scan it in.”
