Pretty sure the drones supported sham 69 at this Apollo gig in 1980 we hung out backstage after the gig and cleaned up the green room rider after the show a first foray backstage in the multi floor backstage area - then we get chased all the way from ardwick back to Piccadilly by the local casuals and just make it to the bus home from town back to salford. This was the hersham boys era I think. Other memories of buzzcocks, dammed gigs, Motörhead even billy Bragg at the apollo welcome. 1980-86
