I assume that Substance may once have been titled 'Existence',
or could it even be a compilation to work out what was going onto 'Still' in 1980?

The tracklist for this compilation is as follows:

Side A

01. Digital
02. Glass
03. Disorder (fades out very early)
04. I Remember Nothing (fades in)
05. Ice Age
06. Exercise One
07. Transmission
08. Novelty
09. The Kill
10. The Only Mistake
11. Something Must Break
12. Auto Suggestion
13. From Safety To Where...?

Side B

01. She's Lost Control (2nd version)
02. Sound Of Music
03. Atmosphere
04. Dead Souls
05. Komakino
06. Incubation
07. Atrocity Exhibition
08. Decades
09. Love Will Tear Us Apart (single version)
10. These Days

“Think it's more likely to be "Heart and Soul", since Substance 1988 was a one CD affair, so why then label it 'Disc 1'?”
“Yes, seeing Mat has now added the track listing, it is definitely "Heart and soul". Note how it's only got the start and ending of "Unknown Pleasures" and "Closer" - to see how they fit in the running order - the main part of the albums being omitted for space reasons on this test run, probably.”
“yes, you're right. It seems to be disc 1 AND disc 2 (minus the UP/Closer middle tracks)”
