“Yup! It certainly did take place. Ten days after they played the scheduled Anarchy tour date at the Circus. So many places banned the Pistols, Manchester was one of very few places they could play. With the tour falling apart they came back to do the Circus a second time. As I recall it was less well attended than the first, which the media were all over, and less frantic.”

“I just noticed the Buzzcocks tag. In fact they didn't play at this one, They were a late add at the first "Anarchy" gig (9/12/76) to replace The Damned. The bill here was Pistols, Clash and Heartbreakers - still - not bad for £1.50!”
