The original hand written article on The Slits by Modest Young aka Paul Morley that was published in Ghast Up 3, although the article was ultimately credited to Severn Upp. The Slits were a favourite in Manchester in 1977 following their appearance at The Oaks and subsequently supporting The Clash on the White Riot tour.
