New Order 1989 USA Tour Jacket with Public Image Limited and the Sugar Cubes. This one was owned by Bernard Sumner, it was made for his and Susan Sumner's son who was around 6 or 7 at the time. It's different from the other jackets that belonged to the band members in its size - youth medium (8 years old). Superb Condition and well taken care of since.

Truly a prize for me as it also fits me well as being collectible. Rare treasure indeed!

The bands logos are embroidered on the front with New Order (aqua blue), PiL (orange) Sugar Cubes, and says USA Summer Tour 89 in pink under them. Bright vibrant colors!

I wonder if any more youth versions like this one exist? It may be one of its kind- if anyone knows the story behind this jacket in general, please share - was it just for the band's members on tour or for sale as merchandise ever?

“I have one of these jackets in Large. It belonged to the late John McGeoch, guitarist of Public Image Limited( formerly of Magazine, The Armoury Show and Siouxsie and the Banshees). A few years ago someone messaged me from the States saying they also had one, theirs belonged to a member of the crew.”
