Unsure as to whether these 1" badges were official promo badges, issued to coincide with the 1987 release of 'Shoplifters Of The World Unite' and 'Strangeways, Here We Come'.

Reading through 'Peepholism' (page 51) I notice one of Morrrissey's requests for 'Shoplifters' being, and I quote "New badge w/Elvis image (colour) and 'Shoplifters' written in black" ... though written in gold, I wonder if he got his wish !!!!!
