Backstage Pass
Oasis
11th June 1994

A back stage pass from Oasis' free Heineken sponsered gig at a park in Preston ( the name escapes me now). Any way the Boo Radleys headlined but we spent most of their set chewing the fat and drinking Heiniken with Noel and the boys in the V.I.P area!

“This is from Preston's free festival in Avenham Park. I also saw Inspirals and Spitualized there. I went on my own because my friends who promised to meet me all got drunk at home instead, and couldn't move. I was probably about 14 and it really annoyed me that they all missed out. I saw Edwin Starr too. I drank Thunderbird and rolled down a hill when Sultans of Ping were on. Avenham Park is also the venue for Preston's annual Easter egg rolling contest, as captured by Mitchell and Kenyon.”
