Streetgang were from moss side. We were a disco funk band, we were on the books of L E Agency in I believe Wigan, from whom we got to work all over the UK. We also worked in jersey and Holland which we toured 4 to 6 times, ten days duration. We also toured Norway for a month through an agency based in Warrington Cheshire. I cannot remember the name of the Agency, it may have been Highway agency, ? we were well liked as a band because we were not a typical black band that was totally influenced by American soul and funk we also brought West Indian reggae music and British rock influences. We also put on very exciting visual show which included dance, choreographed Kung Fu fight, fireworks, lights and so on. We were between an 5 to 8 piece band as at one time we had a brass section.
