biting tongues had a regular monthly slot at coubieres in 85
thats Paddy Steer on the bass , Howard walmsley,Graham Massey and joe schum on saxes Mark Derby is also on bass (two basses just on this gig)Phil Kirby on drums,twas very loud in that cave.
they had a very manchester centric jukebox,and a live scene that was always a squash.

“I did a bit of a guest appearance at one of these, I borrowed a Korg Delta off someone which was a big mistake as I had a Realistic MG1 concertmate synth which was far more suitable. I just did a few parps and white noise sounds here and there..I taped it on my boombox but have since lost the tape but I remember it being good..Howard said that I was not to dress for the gig like I was going camping which I took as a vague insult...His head looks big on the photo”
